Hi , I have a 763 F and the Park Brake won't release . The other day the fuse to .Install a seam amperage circuit breaker in place of the fuse that is blowing. You can then disconnect your solenoid for the parking brake to see if it still either blows a fuse or trips the circuit breaker. Kinda of a confusing post. If the fuse blows only when you push the bark brake button then you have a short between your switch and the parking brake solenoid. Check your wiring for any bare/chafed wires that could be grounding out. A user asks for help with a fuse problem on a Case 420 skid steer. A fuse that is melting (to me) indicates the amp draw from what ever it's protecting is close but lower then the fuse rating. Put a new fuse in and try to operate the machine. When the brakes lock up, feel the coil on the solenoid. A fuse works it's way loose in the fuse panel. Just takes a momentary power interruption and it sets the brake.
