After browsing search history form many late nights and plagerising ideas, I came up with this design.
It's really handy because when you need the thumb for a boulder or log, it's already there. You might want to try digging with it if it doesn't get in the way. Since yours is rigid, it might, but it's worth a try.
Hyd thumb is really nice, but that will get the job done at a fraction of the cost. Also love the pictures, great to see other parts of the world and what projects people are doing.
