I have an excavator, Not really a mini though Link Belt 1600Q (19,000lbs Op Weight) with a Patu stroke delimber.. It has a hitch on the blade and the guy that ran it before I got it pulled a trailer through the woods behind it, would cut and process wood right on the trailer.. Hydraulic hoses commonly damaged. keep wrenches and hoses in excavator Thumb Grapple the E80 is strong enough to snap trees with bucket and thumb the 331 is good for general work i got a Frost ripper tooth for each, works great for removing stumps. The logging equipment for sale pages on FB are loaded with grapples and attachments, im on the east coast but I doubt it takes you long to find something out there. I see 4042 rotobec's all day long for 1200-2000. Superior salvage in MI, Lakeshore, Delichs, I'm sure if you called any one of them they have a used "forwarder" style bucket for sale. I'm considering purchasing a mini ex. I've got a lot of good timber and property that is hard to access. Much of it someone already had put a slab wood path in covered in felt. I'd like to ditch alongside it and cover it. Add some culverts if needed. Also build a couple corduroy logging trails. Among many other projects.
