I want to change out the seat on my 1992 L785 and there are no holes for the two seat switches in the new seat. My old seat base has big chunks of cushion missing and you can just pick the whole thing up off the metal frame and toss it like a frisbee. If you remove the quick disconnect plug end going to the two operator present seat switches and wire in a two position “on/off” switch that will solve the issue. The seat belt switch gets power from the seat switch then sends it to the interlock and EIC. Make sure the EIC (Electronic Instrument Cluster) is getting power from the seat belt . Everytime you get in and out of the seat you have to toggle the switch. Or, you can remove the female side and split the case with a screwdriver to access the switch inside. It will sit down over 2 tabs.
