I have a Big Tex 14ET with Mega Ramps. I like the fact that they fold flat for usable deck space and the ramps can also be locked in a vertical position. As others have already mentioned, they are almost full width. They have torsion springs to assist with lifting.
Mega/Monster ramps, they look like a nice thing to have when they are in the folded position as far as useful space but what are your experiences with them on unlevel ground? Do they twist/tweek? Is a person better off with triple ramps if loading on unlevel ground? Gator, Big Tex, PJ and Load Trail are the ones i've seen so far. Load Trail makes theirs in a lowboy as well as the deckover but I've only seen others come with the deckovers. I'll be loading a 5093e, 773G skid steer and who knows what else. The two trailers I am currently researching the most are between the Sure Trac Equipment with universal ramp equipment, seems to be a similar configuration such as the Mega or Monster ramps. This was shown to me by the same dealer I purchased the tractor from. I see a few big tex, lonestar, belmont, and titan too. I bought an iron bull dump trailer a few years ago and the powder coat is failing on the exterior in a few areas already. Any recommendations from these brands or specific specs? Looking at a big tex with the mega ramps, has anyone used these? Looking at buying one for a skid steer, just nervous these ramps might be too short.
