Hydraulic control valve is unadjusted or worn - Adjust correctly or repair. 1) Take out of drive, placing it in neutral. 2) Drain remaining fuel. 2a) Test fuel lines? 2b) Replace spark plugs? 3) Change engine oil & filter. 4) Reinstall radiator and replace fluid.

When I got the machine the Hyds sounded terrible and the Oil looked even worse. I changed the Oil and Filters and the above Drive Motor. 15 Years later it still sounds as bad . Posted 12/20/2017 22:03 (#6443401) Subject: Case 1835B oil for chain cases/hydraulic system Recently got a heck of a deal on a diesel 1835B that the owner was lead to believe needed an injection pump, and it turned out to be (once I bought it from him ) a plugged return line out of the pump back to the tank. When I got the machine the Hyds sounded terrible and the Oil looked even worse. I changed the Oil and Filters and the above Drive Motor. 15 Years later it still sounds as bad as ever, but stills runs and moves dirt. The Hyds always sounds as though they are cavitateing. The Oil always has some Foam on the Top of the Tank. Any ideas? Next Question.
