2013 caterpillar 287c skid steer defect I just bought a 2008 287c with 1900 hours a few days ago, when i was test driving it in 2nd gear you could smell something like rubber burning, coming from the AC vents. It was also slowing down as i drove it and it would come to a stop.

I have a CAT 287C that was running perfectly until a drive motor hose blew. Machine was stopped immediately and was not moved until CAT replaced the blown hose.
