No personal experience but im guessing tread and sidewall flex for a decent contact patch is part of what makes the snow specific tires work so well? Snows with liquid would seem like a good combo. Add some radioactive chemicals (or UV Dye) to the fluid and leaks would be super easy to find.
It might help if your flats are from punctures, it won't make a difference if the flat are from bead brake down obviously. Slime isn't a bad product but tireject is much better. Have put it in tires with side wall cracks and they held air. (Small tires). Good stuff. I don't think either product is ment for tubed tires, only tubeless
Skid steers are always a little twitchy, I live on the side of a mountain, so i am rarely working on flat ground. When trying to work uphill half the time i am fighting to keep the front wheels on the ground. I am contemplating some cast weights on the very front, i have some 100# plate weights. Also wondering about loaded tires.
Update! The product I saw on line I thought was a liquid that turned to foam. Not so, It is a liquid you pump into your tires and as you encounter leaks this liquid fill the puncture to prevent the tire from going flat. The pump runs 120.00 and a five gallon pail runs 118.00. i want to say it works out to be 5 per tire, i run a 300-Series 12.5-16 tires. so about 0.00 to have the tires filled Click to expand. We just buy a 45 gallon drum of it for 0 and do it in our shop.
Our 430 Skid steer has solid tires, no tubes, Have been great for 12 years, the ride for the skid operator is horrible, Great for picking rocks and clearing fence rows.
