So we finally sold our Komatsu SK820-5n skid, which by the way was a great machine with good specs, and bought a JD 318D with 205 hours on it. It was purchased new by a small town near us to snowblow sidewalks and the occasional summer pothole repair. Find out the equivalent NH model, the engine type, the fuel economy and the visibility of the bucket. I’ve got a 2020 John Deere 325g skid steer. Recently I started having a problem while I’m moving and try to work the hydrolics on the grapple bucket the machine will almost die. Also tracking up hill the machine will idle way down under load. Any ideas? All filters have been changed besides oil and oil filter and fuel tank breather

I’m looking at a 2016 John Deere 318g it has 900hrs for 18,5 and from what I can see the only issues it has are good bit of surface rust and there’s a hrs Hydraulic hose near the bucket the is cut or damaged that he says was from a grapple. I will be using the skid steer for just normal chores around the property.

It is a well used 2 speed machine with almost 6000 hours, but the owner claims no leaks (which I will verify in person), the two drive motors, aux pump and lots of seals have been replaced along with new pins and bushings in the bucket.
