This John Deere 260 skid steer weighs 6440 pounds and is shown to the left with a general . It just needs to be adjusted. Third time on mine. If you leave the throttle up to full speed it will not happen, you just have to listen to it and if your trying to have a conversation it sucks. I think my deere dealer here in MN charges any where from 150 for an adjustment to 350 for adjutment plus a spring or roller but just guessing. The tree service I worked for in college had a 250 then a 260 deere. They were good machines I don't remember many issues with them. Cab and heat will be great, you will be more than comfortable in a sweatshirt. They just had a 7'6" blade on their loaders. I like the low hours but what is the asking price?
I just found a New Holland L220 closer to me than that Deere. (One hour away vs five hours away) 2012, 2600 hours, cab, ac, heat and price is about the same. I know the NH is a smaller machine vs the Deere. I'm on the fence about the two. I . 1996 John deere 8875 with 8' fisher p.a. 1979 International 270 bachoe with 9. p.a. plow 1979 Michigan 55 with bucket 1966 International 3514 loader bucket 2002 Kubota 7800 with 7.5 western plow and bucket 2 F350s with 8' x blades Selling a brand new Deere BL8 snow plow/light dozer blade. Has universal hookup for skidsteer and flat face couplers. Would also fit on most newer compact tractors with the universal hook up. It is a few years old but has never been used other than to try it out for function. The cutting edge looks great and there is no rust. New, is 00. The CAT 242 was the smallest in their vertical lift line and I really wanted a vert for loading trucks but it was a bit bigger machine than I wanted. Plus it was a B series which is a somewhat dated design compared to the CAT C series and the D series Deere. The Deere was the right size with a more updated design. Better visibility and comfort.
We use a mini skid for the majority of our landscaping work. 99.5% of the time it does the job. Only only once we needed a full size skid for a larger job. Customers love the mini. Minimal compaction and damage to the surrounding area. Any damage is easily fixed. Saves us time and headaches after a job doing repair work...
Looking for help with 1999 JD 250 skid steer. The parking brake won't release, this locks out the drive and bucket hydraulics. Have tested and by passed the seat switch and the seat belt switch, replaced the park brake switch, still no movement. Was told the instrument cluster has a module that fails at times.
I have a JD 250 skid steer that I'm working on, have a alternator that was replaced after old one broke lower mount. Hooked up the wires on the reman. Wilson alternator (hd. unit). Looking for wiring schematic for alternator to try and find if the wires are hooked to correct terminals. some of the wires were off the old one.
