Also there seems to be the need for a couple more shims on one or both shafts. Cat 289d engine cooling fan won't shut off. When I start my skid steer the engine fan comes on right away and won't disengage. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Update: so radiator is completely clean, fan is blowing upward and out through the radiator. and temp gun to see what temps reach in the radiator is on its way from amazon. for the time being i will be researching other improvements on the cat while i wait for that to get here. such as installing a drain line for high flow applications and .
