I had never heard of high flow on an 1838 and as Alrman pointed out, I am not sure you would gain much if it was even possible. Those machines including the 1840 and 1845C will run attachments of course but they only made around 15-16 gpm at regular aux flow. It depends, some machines come already plumbed for aux hydraulics. You will need to get under the cab and look at your control block. See if there is a segment of the control block that is not being used, if there is, you can add a linkage and hoses.

I'm looking at an 1835B for sale with no auxiliary hydraulics. Is it particularly difficult or expensive to install the controls and hookups? I just brought home a Case 1840 skid steer it has two aux. lines in front and a red button on one of control arms.
