The parking brake solenoid on certain skid steer loaders and multi terrain loaders may not function properly which will result in the parking brake not working with the key switch in the "ON" position.Its possible one of the safety switches or harness is acting up opening the circuit or there is a software problem in the ECM which Cat would have to update and reflash the ECM but the only way to monitor or reflash is with the Laptop. Hi , I have a 763 F and the Park Brake won't release . The other day the fuse to my Cig lighter blew so I replaced it but at the same time I noticed the fuse boxes were a bit Grubby so I cleaned em up and installed all new fuses now I cannot get the park brake to disengage . The parking brake will not release most of the time. The switch still works as it releases hydraulics to the bucket and lift cylinders.
