I have played with the lap bar switch but I can't tell if it won't go out of park because the lap bar or if it thinks I'm not in the seat. If I wiggle the fuse which is labeled with a "lock" the park light will light up, and then it will not go back off. The problem has never been, nor does it seem to be a mechanical . I borrow a deere skid steer that does that occassionally. A fuse works it's way loose in the fuse panel. Just takes a momentary power interruption and it sets the brake.

The first thing you want to check is all of your safety interlock switches such as your lab bar, seat switch, and door switch if equipped within an enclosed cab along with the wiring and connector pins in that circuit.
