It's got a boatload of hours on it, but it's a one owner and in pretty good shape. My father in law is looking at buying a mini excavator. We have had someone come out several times with a Bobcat 335 and that seems like a nice size, but the used ones seem to run around k (more than he wants to spend).

Any advice to help minimize the troubleshooting would be appreciated.

I am new to this forum and to excavators. I just bought a "solid" Bobcat 334 with "2100" hours on it. It was from a few hours drive from me an I could not see it in person but the seller showed me it working a digging. I'm looking at buying a 2002 Bobcat 442 Excavator. any good or bad reviews out there? What do I need to watch for? Thanks MacGyver
