Can anybody tell me what engine/s will interchange with my Continental 688r in my 1830 Case skid steer? I found a case 1830 missing an engine. Would it be as simple as buying a kohler lawnmower engine or old vw engine and hooking it up or am i simplifying the process? Also .

I moved the engine up into the rear of the skidsteer as far as I could go until the chain hit the solid bar. Then I put a long 2x6 board under the motor that reached up to the . Is my only option a Case dealer for this basic ignition parts? The closest Case dealer for me is over a 2 hour round trip without traffic, so not close. Does anyone have any .

I got a deal on a pretty nice skid steer except that it has a pinto 4 cylinder engine in place of the original renault gas engine. It more or less runs ok, but a small diesel would have better torque and I wouldn't have to spin the engine as much. I moved the engine up into the rear of the skidsteer as far as I could go until the chain hit the solid bar. Then I put a long 2x6 board under the motor that reached up to the engine/pump adapter box and all the way out the rear of the skidsteer.
