I've got a somewhat unique idea. I would like to build a universal rotating attachment that would attach to my machine's BOB-TACH & to another attachment, so I could easily flip it over or position it in a way that is far more comfortable to me. I built a grapple utility bucket from components for a utility grapple bucket originally designed for small skid steer loaders that our company produces. I built my own quick attach plates after getting the top clevis and JD dealer.I didn't get great pics of this one, but I made a ripper attachment for my backhoe. I was trenching in electric and gas this summer and our property of full of limestone. This worked fantastic!!!. The piece I used as the ripper is a piece of 1 inch thick scrap steel that looks like a butter knife; it measures about 30” long and weighs about 100 lbs. I next had to build a structure to attach the ripper to so that it would work with the quick coupler; it had to have a piece of round pipe which is how the quick coupler grabs an attachment.

#1. Post your homemade attachments. Built a crane for my skid steer. Machine is rated around 2500 lbs load, 5000 lbs tipping. Mast is three stage telescopic. Has a lifting eye at the tip for slings, or can be used with a winch with the pulley at the tip.Anyone build a single tooth ripper for a skidsteer? Would like to be able to rip through icy ground to be able to run a small trencher underneath. Have an idea in my head but wanting to see if. The clam bucket doesnt really work that well in 'grabbing' chunks or stick of wood and loading it so i'm helping him build two additional attachments for the skid loader-a grapple and a log splitter. Since he needs the log splitter sooner than the grapple, we started it this weekend. I have so far made a landplane, and post driver attachments for my skidsteer. I will post pics as soon as I get some paint on them. My next project I think will be either a straight roller or a vibratory roller.
