Converting a truck mounted plow to fit a skid steer is very easy to do. The most expensive parts for me were the couplers but I made the mistake of buying them at a John Deere dealer when I should've purchased them at any farm supply store for much less.This video shows how easy it is to convert a medium duty truck plow to a skidsteer quick attach plate. Never done this before, but the one thing I can add from experience adapting different plow A-frames to different trucks; Make sure when you drop the plow down to the ground to plow, the pivot point of the plow will be plumb.
I would take a universal plate, add mount ears to it, pin the old western to it. Make up some new hydro lines with flow reducers. Use the chain from the plow to a hook on the universal plate. That way the plow can be taken off the SS and put back on a truck.
