Hello, I'm trouble shooting Parking Brake Indicator and Armrest Indicator Are .Oct 29, 2013 Hello, I'm trouble shooting Parking Brake Indicator and Armrest Indicator Are Flashing on my CAT 226B serial number MJH08353. In the attached picture, in purple I highlight what I believe is the detent coil.
On occasion the Park Brake Light and Arm Rest Light will flash but this is irregular. Both lights are typically just off. I believe the machine is stuck in interlock because the hydraulics remain limp and also I can not physically hear the Park Brake solenoid actuate. I have a cat 226b skidsteer and after doing some work I turned it off but when I went to fire it up, it wouldn't start, I noticed the seat belt light won't turn off when I put the bar down. Note: the seatbelt light is not flashing it stays illuminated.

The Cat 262B is equipped with a single-speed or two-speed hydrostatic transmission, wet multi disc brakes, 100HS roller chains, and 12x16.5 tires. The hydraulic system has a pump with fluid flow rate of 21.9 gpm (83.0 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 3335 psi (230 bar). Machine has a flashing parking brake light. As soon as key is turned and engine started. Problem is not all the time. Its a hit or miss issue. Both the safety bar and seat switches are working correctly.
